Fitting Guide

Soft Walker Shoes sizes are based on the Brannock device measurements.

Soft Walker Shoes are sized according to the Brannock device. They should fit snuggly since the leather stretches. If they are fitted too loosely the wearer can trip over the extra length at the toe.

The shoes must be allowed to mold to the foot. To do this, don’t wear socks the first few times, pull the back of the shoe all the way up and over the heel while the wearer is standing up, and tie the laces while the wearer is putting full weight on both feet.

Measure the foot.

To determine which size to order, measure the full length of the bare foot in question without socks or shoes. Do not measure the length of an existing shoe sole - this is incorrect and will result in an ill fitting shoe!

A good method to try is to get a clean sheet of paper and place it on the ground or hard surface. Have a pencil or pen at the ready while the feet step onto the paper. Trace all the way around the feet. Measure the full length of the foot from the heel to the longest toe - for some people this is the big toe, first toe, or even the middle toe!

There you go - select the size of the shoe that corresponds to the length of the foot!
